It increases blood circulation in body and every part of our body benefits from it. By proper blood circulation in brain, one remains active throughout the day. Exercise is helpful in overcoming insomnia, indigestion, lack of appetite and concentration, frequent cold problems.
No Time for Exercise?
In this chaotic world, people avoid exercises as they feel exercise is time consuming and they already have busy schedule. So one can do exercise for 3-4 days a week instead of doing it daily. If you are not a morning person, then you can do it in the evening. Working out for even 15-20 minutes daily is beneficial as compared to exercise at all.
But if someone still feels that he doesn’t have enough time for exercise, he can follow these points.
- Always use stairs instead of lifts or escalators.
- Take 1 or 2 min walk on regular intervals.
- Develop a habit of drinking water at regular intervals. It is better to take a break and get water in the tumbler on your own so that it invigorate and freshens you.
- Maintain good sitting posture.
- Try not to focus on computer screen too long. Do some basic neck/eyes exercises after every 60 minutes of computer screen staring. Wash eyes with cold water when required.
Jogging, skipping, walking and cycling are some of the exercises that anybody can do in the morning time. These exercises requires even less than 30 minutes. Choose a safer place cycling, walking and jogging. Avoid doing these in dark or at isolated places or in traffic as someone can harm you. One can try rope skipping as this can be done in home as well. Exercising is very effective in increasing concentration power.
Yoga is another useful activity to keep their body fit and healthy. But for yoga one needs proper guidance and training as some of the yogasans as complicated and difficult to do. One of the way around is to choose easy and simple yogasans such as Arthasirasasana , Bujankasana , Konasana, Padmasana, and Sarvangasana. Although these are simple but these are really effective in ensuring healthy mind and body.
Gym can be really helpful as we have to pay money to get the membership. And money can be a good motivating factor for many of us. Try to get membership of the gym that is open for long hours so that you can go whenever you want. Also see of you can join gym that opens on weekend as well.
Everyone have certain limit when doing exercises. Over exerting may lead to body pain, nervous weakness and insomnia. Main aim of exercise is to have healthy and happy life. If we give strain to our body by doing exercise excessively, our body and mind will be adversely affected. So be careful when doing exercise.
As we all know, fit and healthy body helps concentrate and dedicate 100% to your work. This also helps you to give productive and quality work to your organization, which leads to your Organization’s growth as well as your personal growth.
