by British Academy from 03\/2020 till 12\/2021 targeting the employability of young people from ethnic minorities in Vietnam\u2019s disadvantaged areas is a significant, national priority for social and economic development. Re-WORK is a ground-breaking, interdisciplinary study examining the work-livelihood narratives and social practices of young people belonging to ethnic minorities in Northern and Central Vietnam. It responds directly to significant structural inequalities experienced by these young people which means they are vulnerable to low employment prospects and precarious work circumstances. Additionally, it also enables collaborative spaces to empower disadvantaged youth to express their perspectives with policy makers and researchers to inform policy.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Provide comments on data collection instruments;<\/li>\n<li>Support the recruitment and promotion of the events at the local level to ensure it is relevant and appropriate to the ethnic minorities of the age group target of this study;<\/li>\n<li>Support piloting of the survey, interview, and appreciative inquiry protocols and instruments;<\/li>\n<li>Support data collection at the research sites, including the translation and interpretation of data in terms of local cultural meaning;<\/li>\n<li>Administer the research instruments\/questionnaires;<\/li>\n<li>Support the creation of policy and practitioner reports, and digital forum;<\/li>\n<li>Support the design of the digital forum and online network, and promote networking among local youth groups across the research field sites;<\/li>\n<li>Make data entry and make initial data analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Update the research Website;<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of and follow the safeguarding policy of the project;<\/li>\n<li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Graduates with bachelor\u2019s degree and\/or final year students;<\/li>\n<li>Good advantage given to candidates with experience in research with questionnaire collection, computer data entry skills,\u2026;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with vulnerable groups;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills, strong enthusiasm in work;<\/li>\n<li>Good teamwork and ready to travel to remote field sites;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and\/or ethnic minority local\u00a0language(s) to be strong advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in Excel and Microsoft Office, proficiency in ICT to be advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Duration:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Starting date: As soon as possible;<\/li>\n<li>Ending date: 31 December 2021.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">How to apply?<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Application includes:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>C.V in Vietnamese and English language (including two positive references).<\/li>\n<li>Letter of application<\/li>\n<li>Copies of degrees and certificates as stated in C.V.
