(Within the framework of the Digi:Đổi project) On May 26, the Phu Xuan University, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, organized a seminar titled "Building a roadmap and strategy for digital transformation in Vietnamese higher education." This meaningful event is part of the Digi:Đổi project, a collaborative digital transformation initiative in Vietnamese higher education sponsored by the British Council. Phu Xuan University is partnering with the University of Liverpool John Moores from the United Kingdom in leading this project.

The Digi:Đổi project, sponsored by the British Council, officially commenced in January 2023. In Vietnam, Phu Xuan University collaborates with the University of Liverpool John Moores from the United Kingdom to lead the project. The project's vision for the years 2023-2025 aims for long-term impacts, with students at the center, fostering collaboration and promoting development through project-based training methods.

In Vietnam, Phu Xuan University has hosted numerous meaningful events and seminars, bringing together many businesses, education managers, and colleges/universities nationwide.

The seminar "Building a roadmap and strategy for digital transformation in Vietnamese higher education" under the Digi:Đổi project attracted positive feedback.

On May 26, 2023, Phu Xuan University, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, organized a seminar titled "Building a roadmap and strategy for digital transformation in Vietnamese higher education." This program is part of the Digi:Đổi series of seminars aimed at developing and establishing a suitable digital transformation roadmap for Vietnamese universities.

The seminar had over 130 delegates attending in person and 70 delegates participating online, representing more than 40 universities, colleges, and businesses nationwide. Ten reports were presented, sharing activities and results in the digital transformation journey of participating universities. The program also included discussion sessions focusing on the roadmap and strategy for digital transformation in higher education in Vietnam based on reports from various universities.

Report from the representative of Phu Xuan University at the Digi:Đổi Seminar

The project's representative in Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dong, Vice Rector of Phu Xuan University, presented the activities of the project during the period from January 2023 to the present. The delegate also shared experiences gained from the project after visiting and working with the University of Liverpool John Moores and attending the digital transformation seminar in the United Kingdom from April 23-27, 2023. On behalf of the project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dong announced and shared the project's activities plan in Vietnam for the next three months. He called on Vietnamese universities to implement the co-creation principle by participating in surveys and testing the framework model along with the tools currently being deployed in the United Kingdom by the JISC organization.

The seminar also featured presentations and feedback on various Digital Transformation projects from universities, colleges, and businesses across the country. Animated discussions took place regarding digital transformation strategies and roadmaps, recognizing that each institution may have different strategies and roadmaps for digital transformation. Delegates also proposed participating in applying the digital transformation model and suggested organizing specialized seminars to discuss specific factors in the digital transformation process.

Phu Xuan University takes pride in being a unit that cares and collaborates in the development of education, and this seminar reaffirmed the university's commitment to contributing to the change and progress of the education system.
